South Australian creditors of OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd (OneSteel) are now invited to apply for South Australian Government payments equal to total debt owed, up to $5 million.

Whyalla-based businesses may be eligible to receive a portion of eligible debt owed to them as an interim payment.

The South Australian Business Creditor Assistance Scheme is designed to get much-needed funds to creditors sooner than would otherwise be achievable through the administration process.

It will complement, but not interfere with, the OneSteel administration process currently underway with KordaMentha.
